» Saturday Club: Refocus Youths 'Saturday Club' proposed to start in Southwark on Saturday 25th June 2011.



»  Southwark Parent's Conference: Refocus Youths in association with The Central Association of Nigerians in the Diaspora (CANUK) and Damilola Taylor Trust, will be holding a 'Parent's Conference' in Southwark on 28/05/11. Theme: 'Conference for Black Ethnic Minority Parents: ACT NOW'.  Date: 28 May 2011.  Time: 11am to 12 noon - registration and networking.  Actual event will start at 12 noon promptly so that all will be covered by 5pm.  Lunch will be provided.  Please inform families and friends.  Everyone is invited.


» Leadership Summit: CANUK (Central Association of Nigerians in the United Kingdom) in collaboration with Refocus Youths & the Nigerian High Commission will be hosting a Leaders only summit.  Our sponsors for this event are Xcel Malt.

Refocus Youths Strategy

As stated in the foregoing, many young people are either already victims of hypo-intellection or threatened by this condition, which is the basis of troubles such as:
■
Gangsterism
■ Youth Drug Abuse
■ Youth Alcoholism
■ Teenage Pregnancy
■ Poor Academic Performance
■ Youth Violence
among other kinds of disturbing activities. With these in mind, RYL has been conceived with a mission to effectively attack and mend the unpleasant behaviours through playful and remedial engagements over sports. The debilitating conditions can be tackled through exposing the young person to appropriate intellectual sports. The intellectual sport with which RYL will operate is the unique strategy game named Doziet.
